Pillar Patents as data processor

In instances, Pillar Patents ApS performs as data processor on behalf of our clients, for instance if provides an electronic platform, such as a data exchange. In such instances, this privacy policy does not apply to the processing.

Pillar Patents ApS (We) are responsible for this website and is the data controller for all data shared through it. We may need to process personal data as follows.

Tasks/services

As a client or a potential client, your personal data will be processed in a manner which enables us to do the job at hand, e.g. name, home address, email address, telephone number, social security number, or bank details. As an inventor you have the right to be mentioned. 

To fulfill that right, we may handle personal information for the purpose of getting in contact with your and document transfer of rights. Pillar Patents ApS may keep the minimum of data required to document invention disclosures, inventor ship, transfer of rights and alike according to applicable law. 

Company information such as CVR/VAT number or company address, is usually not protected by the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). However, under certain circumstances we will also process personal information/data in combination with your professional/company information/data. 

Applying for a job

When applying for a position or make available your services, you willingly provide us personal data, e.g. social security number and home address. This personal data is processed solely for that purpose and anyone else.

When you register for information, e.g. newsletter and events, we collect your personal data such as name and e-mail address.

We may store historic data publicly available (e.g. patent registers and other public data services).
