Poul Erik, the founder of Pillar Patent, holds a Master of Engineering from The Technical University of Denmark, a PhD in plasma physics from Imperial College in London, and a Master of Business Administration from the London Business School.

As JET Fellow at the Joint European Torus in Culham, Poul Erik worked with plasma turbulence and continued to do so at the Swiss TCV and at the JAERI’s JT-60U in Japan. Poul Erik is the author of numerous peer-reviewed scientific articles. Poul Erik has experince with high-tech start-ups as well as large international organisations.

Poul Erik has more than a decade of experience with both Danish, European and foreign patents, including drafting of patent applications, prosecution of patent applications within various technical areas, such as technical physics, energy technology, optics, telecommunication, diagnostic equipment, medical equipment, software and general mechanics. Furthermore, Poul Erik provides assistance in court cases and counsel regarding patent strategy, legal issues, cross-border litigation and business strategy.
